Camping Rules

For the record, there are some rules for staying at Camping Hitjesvijver:

1. Upon arrival and departure, one must report to the reception desk. Visitors are also required to report to reception. Your visitors must have left the campsite by 10 p.m. for the sake of peace and quiet.
2. The "whisper time" applies from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. When using radio and TV, fellow guests must not be disturbed. Amplifiers, speakers etc. are not allowed.
3. Use of the pool is entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety, that of your family and your guests, as there is no supervision at the pool.
4. Your car may not be parked on your pitch, but must be parked in one of the parking spaces in the campsite. Visitors' motor vehicles are not allowed in the campground. Visitors may park their cars in the parking lot in front of the campground.
5. There is a maximum speed limit of 5 km per hour on the campsite.
6. To use your barbecue, please find a fire-safe place, so definitely not on the grass, under trees and near tents. You must have a bucket of water next to the barbecue at all times.
7. Open fire is strictly prohibited.
8. Smoking in the toilet blocks is strictly prohibited.
9. Disposal of sewage and emptying of chemical toilets is allowed only in the designated disposal pits and not in the toilet buildings.
10. Use of drugs in any form is not permitted. Violators will be removed from the campsite.
11. Please dispose of your waste in the designated containers. Use of garbage bags is mandatory.
12. The pitch must be left undamaged and clean. Any damage to the pitch, plants, buildings or camping facilities will be recovered from the tenant.
13. Your dog must be leashed at all times and must not be a nuisance to other guests. There is a dog walking area opposite the campsite.
14. On the day of departure you must leave the campsite no later than 11:00 am, otherwise you will pay the full daily rate. If you wish to extend your stay, you must indicate this one day in advance. This does not entitle you to keep the pitch if it is already taken.
15. The management accepts no responsibility for damage to guests' property as well as accidents to guests or visitors.
16. Management reserves the right to remove persons, camping equipment, vehicles, etc. from the campground. We refer you to Article 9 of the Recron conditions for vacation accommodations.
17. In case of removal or early departure, there will be no refund of camping fees paid.
    Furthermore, we apply the Recron conditions, which you can see at the reception if desired.
